Albumin FS is a photometric test to determine albumin in serum and plasma. Hypoalbuminemia is prevalent in liver diseases, nephrotic syndrome or heart failure and serves as a rough indicator for the general health status of an individual, especially for elderly, chronically ill and hospitalized patients.
